As she starts writing her story, a series of strange murders occur nearby. Tom and Katy fall in love and find themselves right in the middle of the worst serial killer mystery that upstate New York has ever experienced.
The Tears of Destiny
The summer of 1941 held good things for Ned Brewster. Ned, just out of high school, was to marry his soul mate, Kim, in the fall. John Brewster wanted Ned to join the family business, as his brother and sister had done. To avoid this awkward situation, Ned joined the Marine Corps and reported to basic training shortly after his marriage to Kim.

Things would turn out differently for the young couple.

The events of World War II put Ned and Kim in harms way and changed their lives forever.
